These data represent Palm Springs Little pocket mouse (Perognathus longimembris bangsi) detections, clipped to the DRECP boundary.
72 detections points obtained Feb. 2013 from CNDDB (California Department of Fish and Wildlife, Biogeographic Data Branch), MaNIS (http://manisnet.org/), and species locality data compiled by the California Mammal Species of Special Concern (MSSC) project.
The DRECP has obtained special permission from the CA Dept. of Fish & Wildlife to display these data on public maps at scales smaller (more zoomed out) than 1:577,791. These data are not visible on maps zoomed in beyond this scale.
