Canada Lynx Linkage Areas for Northern Rockies Lynx Amendment Area

Description:
This dataset represents Canada Lynx (Lynx canadensis) linkage areas for Idaho, Montana, and portions of Utah and Wyoming. Linkage areas were identified by a cooperative agreement between the U.S. Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management, and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in August 2000. The data are represented at a scale of 1:100,000. The linkage areas are described in more detail in: Claar JJ, Bertram T, Naney R, Warren N and Ruediger W. 2004.
