This dataset depicts inventoried and proposed areas on National Forests
in Southern California. This dataset includes areas not represented in
the USFS Inventoried Roadless Areas dataset for the US, due to pending
judicial decisions regarding designatino of roadless areas. This
dataset was developed during the 2005 Forest Planning Revision process.
This is an update of the previous RARE II information, which now is
considered a historical record for the affected forests.
