DRECP Climate Refugia

About

This gallery contains logic model results for physical climate refugia (based on physical characteristics such as level of solar radiation and proximity to water) and climate refugia (based on climate futures for two AR4 models PCM and GFDL under the A2 emission scenario) for the DRECP region summarized at 1 km and 270 m spatial resolution.  Refugia are those locations that are somewhat buffered by a changing climate based on the fact that these locations are less likely to change as much as other locations and/or contain physical characteristics that allow specie refuge from temperature and precipitation stress.  In addition to the models, the various model inputs are also provided.
