Seabird Colonies of California

Description:

A California state wide collection of seabird colony data compiled through the planning efforts of the Marine Life Protection Act Initiative. Original data provided by NOAA biogeographic regional assessment of National Marine Sanctuaries. Additional data provided and modifications made by each regional Science Advisory Team (SAT) in respective regions. For specific processing detail see each regional collection (North Coast, North Central Coast, Central Coast, and South Coast).
