Northern California Northwest Forest Plan Riparian Management Zones

Jun 8, 2010
Description:
This dataset depicts riparian reserve management zones in northern California as defined for the Northwest Forest Plan. This dataset contains riparian reserves, portions of watersheds where riparian-dependent resources receive primary emphasis and where special standards and guidelines apply. A riparian area contains an aquatic ecosystem, such as a stream, lake, river, pond, or wetland, plus adjacent upland areas that directly affect it.
