Description:
The point locations of Panoquina errans (wandering skipper butterfly) larval hostplant; Distichlis spicata (saltgrass) in San Diego County, California. Data was collected using a submeter accurate GPS to determine the location of saltgrass patches greater that one square meter in areas occupied by wandering skipper butterfly. This work was performed by the San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG) to evaluate key characteristics of wandering skipper butterfly.
