This is an environmental hazard that contributes to environmental justice issues in Santa Barbara County. The percentile that each Census block group ranks in, relative to all locations in California, where groundwater may be threatened by certain sources of pollution, adjusted by how close such facilities are to where people live. - The Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA), on behalf of the California Environmental Protection Agency (CalEPA), announces the availability of the Communities Environmental Health Screening Tool: CalEnviroScreen Version 3.0 (CalEnviroScreen 3.0). CalEnviroScreen is a screening methodology that can be used to help identify California communities that are disproportionately burdened by multiple sources of pollution.
