This is an environmental hazard that contributes to environmental justice issues in Santa Barbara County. The percentile that each Census block group ranks in, relative to all locations in California, for levels of 13 water contaminants and two types of water quality violations. CalEnviroScreen is a screening methodology that can be used to help identify California communities that are disproportionately burdened by multiple sources of pollution.
