SKR Habitat Suitability Version 1 - CBI 2019

Sep 5, 2019 (Last modified May 3, 2021)
Description:
Stephens' kangaroo rat habitat was modeled across its range in southern California to inform SKR management and monitoring and recovery planning.

Habitat suitability for Stephens' kangaroo rat (SKR) across its range was generated from a multi-scale MaxEnt (habitat suitability model for presence-only data; Version 3.3.3k) model at 20m resolution. See 'Developing Updateable Habitat Models for Endangered Stephens' Kangaroo Rats Using Satellite Imagery' for more details.
