Montana (USA) White-tailed Deer Winter Ranges

Jul 7, 2010
Description:
This coverage does not include white-tailed deer winter ranges within Tribal lands/Indian Reservations or National Park Service lands. Winter range polygons represent areas occupied by white-tailed deer from roughly November 15 to
March 1. Not all polygons in this coverage represent winter range. The polygon attribute to select winter range for white-tailed deer is USE. NOTE: white-tailed deer winter ranges east of the continental divide vary greatly from year to year and therefore are not always delineated in the coverage...this does not necessarily mean there is no winter range in a given area.
