These data identify, in general, the areas of Proposed critical habitat for Allium munzii (Munz's onion) within jurisdiction of the Carlsbad Fish and Wildlife Office.

The database was initially created to map locations of threatened and endangered species which require a survey report under Section 10 of the Endangered Species Act. The database has been expanded to include a few other species of interest.
