This data represents a draft “Integrated” alternative from the DRECP Description and Comparative Evaluation of Draft DRECP Alternatives dated December 17, 2012. Each integrated alternative is comprised of three primary elements: Renewable Energy Development areas, Conservation Area Reserve System areas, and Other Lands.The Renewable Energy Development areas include Development Focus Areas (DFAs) in all alternatives and in Alternatives 1, 6, and 7 also include Solar PEIS Variance lands.The Conservation Area Reserve System includes three components: the BLM Land Use Plan Amendment (LUPA) areas, Conservation Planning Areas, and Existing Conservation. The BLM LUPA areas are comprised of Desert Conservation Lands (Existing and Proposed Areas of Critical Environmental Concern (ACECs), National Landscape Conservation System (NLCS) designations, and Wildlife Allocations) and Recreation designations (Existing and Proposed Special Recreation Management Areas (SRMAs) and Long Term Visitor Areas (LTVAs)). The Conservation Planning Areas include High Biological Sensitivity (HBS) and Moderate Biological Sensitivity (MBS) areas on public and private lands. Existing Conservation areas include Legislatively and Legally Protected areas (LLPs) and Military Expansion Mitigation Lands (MEMLs).Other Lands includes: Impervious and Urban Built-up Lands, Military lands, Open Off-highway Vehicle (OHV) lands, Tribal lands, Undesignated areas, BLM Solar PEIS Solar Energy Zones (SEZs), and Proposed Feinstein Bill areas.Please note the DRECP Description and Comparative Evaluation of Draft DRECP Alternatives provides an illustrative view into the data, information and type of analyses that will be presented in the Draft DRECP and EIR/EIS.
