Global Average Annual Evapotranspiration, 1950-2000

Jul 1, 2010
Description:
This dataset depicts average annual evapotranspiration for the globe on a 0.5 X 0.5 degree global grid. Evapotranspiration field represents a long term annual average (mm/yr) computed from monthly modeled evapotranspiration for years 1950-2000. Annual evapotranspiration - long-term annual average evapotranspiration (mm/yr) computed from monthly modeled evapotranspiration using Shuttleworth and Wallace (1985) PET estimates (Vorosmarty et al, 1998) and limited by modeled soil moisture.

The data is in ESRI GRID raster format.
