The integrated alternative shapefiles represent the proposed Plan-wide action alternatives, as described in Volume II of the Public Draft DRECP (September 2014). This single layer has 19 classes corresponding to the “integrated” map categories for each alternative, as shown in Figure II.3-1 for the Preferred Alternative and Figures II.4-1 through II.7-1 for Alternatives 1-4 of the Public Draft DRECP. This attribute is used for the description of each alternative and includes:
Development Focus Areas (DFAs)
Study Area Lands classes (DRECP Variance Lands, Future Assessment Areas, and Special Analysis Areas)
Reserve Design Lands classes (Legislatively and Legally Protected Areas (LLPAs), Military Expansion Mitigation Lands (MEMLs), BLM Areas of Environmental Concern (ACEC), BLM National Landscape Conservation System (NLCS) lands, overlapping BLM ACEC and NLCS, BLM Wildlife Allocation, overlapping BLM Wildlife Allocation and NLCS, and Conservation Planning Areas)
Other Lands classes (Impervious and Urban Built-up Land, Military, Open Off-Highway Vehichle (OHV) Areas, Open OHV Areas (Imperial Sand Dunes), Johnson Valley OHV Shared Use Area, Tribal Lands, and Undesignated).
In this layer, BLM Land Use Plan Amendment (LUPA) conservation designations reflect the full designation and are not filtered to BLM-administered lands only. BLM LUPA conservation designations are not reflected in this attribute if they overlap LLPAs, MEMLs, Military, Open OHV Areas, or Open OHV Areas (Imperial Sand Dunes).
