This layer contains polygon features of protected activity centers
(PACS) for Spotted Owls in California. These areas were mapped as
directed by the California Spotted Owl Environmental Assessment as
interim direction adopted in the Region until the Environmental Impact
Statement analysis is complete. Coding is for type of habitat as well as
for timber management constraint.
