Description:
Forested roadless areas 1,000 acres and larger on federal lands in Oregon.

This inventory represents all of the forested roadless areas on federal public lands in Oregon over 1,000 acres in size. Roadless areas are primarily influenced by the forces of nature and generally do not include functional roads, structures, or intensive past logging activities. The data was originally created in the late 1990's and has been regularly updated since based on updated aerial and satellite imagery as well as field reports from volunteers, partner organizations and agency staff.
