Description:
A record peak flow in February of 1996 caused the Willamette River and its major tributaries to flood. This map was created to delineate the inundated areas near the mainstem and major tributaries of the Willamette River. Complete FGDC metadata is available from US Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District. Updated through the Goal 5 process, the State of Oregon mandate for identifying areas for potential habitat protection.
