Description:
These layers represent future projected (2070-2099) change from historical (1981-2010) in climatic water defecit for the Golden Gate Biosphere Network (GGBN). The future projections include three models: CNRM-CM5 (Warm/Wet), MIROC5 (Moderate) and MIROC-ESM (Hot/Dry) under the RCP 8.5 emissions scenario.

The historic variability was calculated using the CWD Standard Deviation across the historic 30 years (1981-2010). The future projected CWD was calculated using the calcuated change from historic (delta) for CWD.

CNRM-CM5 and MIROC 5 are CMIP6 models from the BCM V8, and MIROC-ESM is a CMIP5 model from the BCM 2014. Deltas were calculated using the historic version from their associated BCM versions.
