This coverage represents density per square mile. It does not include densities or overall distribution within Tribal lands/Indian Reservations or National Park Service lands. Overall distribution polygons represent general or year round habitat. Not all polygons represent overall distribution. The polygon attribute used to select overall distribution is USE. The polygon attribute used to identify density is CLASS. Note: Densities are accurate as of 1994-1995 and may not reflect current densities.
