Description:
The general plan is a composite of many policies, programs and intended actions to govern the future physical development of the five million acres of unincorporated Kern County. This feature layer is the second GIS version of the county's general plan. It was built off of the original, with the intention of matching the designations to the county's parcel layer as well as creating a layer that would expidite the cartographic process.
