Description:
Map service to support the NAACC's NE Aquatic Connectivity project tool (for aquatic barrier prioritization). See http://maps.freshwaternetwork.org/northeast for more information

These datasets include dams and road stream crossings across the Northeast region, with barriers symbolized both by their severity (insignificant, minor, moderate, significant, or severe barrier) and by their anadromous fish priority (the ecological benefit for anadromous fish provided by removal, assigned into tiers). Benefits for resident fish are considered in the Critical Linkages layer. Other layers with contributing information are also included.
