The data displayed here show potential grazing areas across Santa Barbara County defined by their vegetation category.
The data was produced by combining grazing areas from the California Department of Conservation's Farmland Mapping and Monitoring Program using 2014 data, Bureau of Land Management grazing allotments, and United States Forest Service grazing allotments. These areas where then used as a mask to extract the vegetation categories from the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection's Fire and Resource Assessment Program's (FRAP) most recent release of vegetation data.
