Tule Elk Herds

Description:
These data have been derived from and digitized from the Owens Valley Tule Elk Habitat Management Plan (1986) provided by the BLM, CDFG, INF, and LADWP. These data represent six herds within the valley - BIshop, Tinemaha, Goodale, Independence, Lone Pine, and Whitney. THese are not distinct large herds, but several groups of elk overlapping ranges during some season of the year.
