Description:

The U.S. Census Populated Place Areas for California represents populated places, including both incorporated places and census designated places identified by the U.S. Census Bureau.


This layer provides areal locations for populated places including fields—name, FIPS code, census class, area, population, and selected demographic data from the 2010 U.S. Census. Updated to include 2015 projected population.
