Coastal Change Analysis Program (C-CAP) Landcover

Service Description: This map service presents spatial information about the Coastal Change Analysis Program (C-CAP) land cover data in the Web Mercator projection. The service was developed as part of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Coastal Services Center’s C-CAP Land Cover Atlas. NOAA provides the information “as-is” and shall incur no responsibility or liability as to the completeness or accuracy of this information. NOAA assumes no responsibility arising from the use of this information. For additional information, please contact the NOAA Coastal Services Center (http://csc.noaa.gov/contact/contactform.htm). The raster spatial data layers represent 30-meter spatial resolution C-CAP thematic land cover for the 1996, 2001, and 2006 time periods. The vector layers denote the county mapping boundaries that are used within the C-CAP Land Cover Atlas for both visual and statistical functionality. The Coastal Services Center will make every effort to provide continual access to this service but it may need to be taken down during routine IT maintenance or in case of an emergency.
