Description:
The total carbon stock represents the mass of carbon stored in aboveground vegetation biomass and soil organic carbon in the top 30 cm of soil. We estimated a total of around 50 million metric tons of carbon (MT C) stored in the county's soils and aboveground biomass. Around 50% of this exists in shrubland, and another 38% is stored in forest and grassland.
