About

This gallery is a working collection of all of the Alaska Yellow-Cedar (Callitropsis nootkatensis) related datasets currently found in Data Basin as of June, 2024. This gallery has a few draft location maps and layers that were provided by collaborators without metadata for immediate project purposes. It has been retained in the gallery and made private, as we prefer to make public, data that has adequate meta data.

Conservation Biology Institute carried out site visits, in 2018, to some of the most southern populations to collect cone and tissue samples. The description of the project can be found on the CBI webpage Alaska Yellow-Cedar gene conservation in Klamath Region (CA and OR).
