Clean Power Alliance is committed to be an environmental leader by providing customers with energy that delivers multiple benefits for air, water, and nature and avoids impacts to important lands, species, and waters.

In accordance with this environmental stewardship principle, Clean Power Alliance will prioritize renewable energy projects that provide additional societal, health, economic, water saving or environmental benefits beyond the climate and greenhouse gas reduction benefits of renewable energy. Clean Power Alliance will also prioritize renewable energy projects sited in designated renewable energy zones that have been identified through a public process. 

Clean Power Alliance will de-prioritize renewable energy projects that are in conflict with known environmental and ecological values.
