Coastal and Marine Resources

About

This gallery includes datasets relevant to coastal and marine resources within the Gulf Coastal Plains and Ozarks Landscape Conservation Cooperative, Gulf of Mexico, Southeastern U.S. and North America.  The
objective of this gallery is to provide Conservation Planning Atlas users with a quickly-accessible source of various pertinent datasets, maps, and galleries relevant to coastal and marine habitat systems along the Gulf of Mexico for both mapmaking and download.  The main portion of the gallery links to the Gulf Coast subgeography gallery of the GCPO LCC and the boundaries gallery.  Folders within the coastal and marine resources gallery are partitioned by coastal and marine habitats, though some overlap is present.  The coastal habitats folder contains data layers related to coastal hydrologic features and coastline, mangrove forest distribution, breakwater models, coastal relief and land cover and many more.  The marine habitats folder contains datasets related to Gulf of Mexico bathymetry, marine protected areas, oil, gas and wind energy operations, and hypoxia and nutrient load.
