Soils 800m dataset conterminous USA

About

The soils dataset used to run the DGVM MC1 at 800m spatial grain was compiled in this gallery in order to compare it to the other soils datasets used for different projects at different spatial resolution.
Information on the source of the soils data and methods used to create a gridded dataset are available in the metadata of each file. Variables documented are: soil texture (% sand, clay) and % rock fragment for each of the 3 soil layers contained in the soil profile, soil depth, and bulk density.
Note: “surface” is 0-50 cm, “intermediate” is 50-150 cm, and “deep” is > 150 cm.
