The maps included in this gallery were
developed as part of the following project:
Contemporary
fire regimes in the Madrean Archipelago Ecoregion / Regímenes de incendios
contemporáneos en la ecorregión del archipiélago Madrean.
Species
distribution models are available for five pine species (Pinus strobiformis Engelm.; P.
arizonica Engelm.; P. discolor D.K.Bailey & Hawksw. (P.
cembroides var. bicolor Little); P. engelmannii Carrière; P.
chihuahuana Engelm. (P. leiophylla var. chihuahuana Shaw).
Two models of
predicted probability for each species will be included in the gallery via link to ScienceBase, 1) models with
terrain and bioclimatic predictors (1 km resolution), and 2) models with
terrain and NDVI seasonal predictors (30 m resolution).
Data and code used to
develop the models are available: https://github.com/HaireLab/madrean-pines
