This gallery contains datasets curated and produced by the Oregon Habitat Connectivity Consortium (OHCC) related to habitat connectivity in Oregon. The OHCC was formed by governmental and
nongovernmental members in 2016 to promote functional natural landscape
connectivity and to reduce wildlife collisions on roads at multiple scales
throughout Oregon supported by the best available science and planning
techniques. The consortium is comprised
of an open structure led by a core leadership team and supported by advisory
subgroups. The group strives to include all people and organizations who wish
to assist in supporting this important mission to define and enhance habitat
connectivity in the state in order to ensure the long-term viability of
Oregon’s natural communities; to enhance wildlife and human safety on Oregon’s
roads; to promote and preserve native biodiversity; and provide resiliency in
the face of a changing climate.
