Soil (Porter)

This map uses data sets that show the soil type as well as data sets that show the agricultural usage. It is useful in that it shows in what ways the soil affects agriculture. The data sets such as Cropland Types or Animal Stocking Rates, show where and to what degree types of agriculture occur. This, laid over soil data and dived by the slider, can greatly assist in finding potential farming sites or simply analyzing how soil affects agriculture.
