Description: Net biome production (NBP) simulated by MC2 for historical and future conditions under the A2 emission scenario. (NBP=NEP-fire emissions and NEP=NPP-soil respiration)

Two levels of human intervention are illustrated: potential natural vegetation maintained with wildfires, potential natural vegetation with fire suppression and projected land use. Results were summarized as modal (dominant) vegetation by decade and across 3 climate projections under the A2 emission scenario.
