Description
This map shows output from the UCSB statistical (Maxent) species distribution model for the Beavertail cactus (var. Bakersfield cactus), Opuntia basilaris var treleasei .

The UCSB Maxent output includes both continuous and thresholded datasets. The binary layer depicting predicted suitable habitat was derived using the equal training sensitivity and specificity threshold.

For Opuntia basilaris var treleasei, Max Sensitivity + Specificity threshold = 0.1762; best AUC =0.9917; mean AUC = 0.9895.
