Trash Canyon is an exciting part of midland property. It’s called trash canyon because it’s literally a canyon full of midlands discarded items. When midland is done with its items they just take them out to trash canyon and dump them. The canyon itself isn’t very long but it has many magical treasures. You can find things varying from old brooms to an old Ford truck. I enjoy going to trash canyon a lot with my friends and gathering firewood and exploring the lost and used things. Trash Canyon is also the home of some of Midlands horses and the pig pen. There are quite a lot of oaks in trash canyon. There are a lot of blue oak grooves that were very small. The other portion is the bowl. The bowl is a popular running and hiking trail on midland campus. It is mostly upward and goes around in a circle around midland campus hills. I can’t even imagine running it but a lot of people run it. The cross country team ran it many times during their season. The horse program also uses the trail for trail rides often. Its a good spot for hiking as well. Theres many trees. Theres a nice hardluck site near the top called grassy noels. At the top of the bowl there is a triple cross roads that leads to another property and the rest of the midland bowl.
