Description
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Chesapeake Bay Field Office in partnership with U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Region 3 is working to develop a “Central Appalachia Action Program (CAAP)” in the Central Appalachian states of Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania that will foster partnerships of Central Appalachian residents, landowners, local, state, and federal agencies, academics, and non-governmental organizations to protect, restore, and connect Appalachian forests, streams, rivers, and communities.
