Description
CNDDB data was included for approximately 5 miles from the project boundary.  This included data from the sixteen quads nearest to the OVSES (Big Pine, Bishop, Blanco Mtn., Coyote Flat, Fish Slough, Fish Springs, Laws, Mt. Thompson, North Palisade, Poleta Canyon, Rovana, Split Mtn., Tinemaha Reservoir, Tungsten Hills, Uhlmeyer Spring, and Westgard Pass), as well as a few quads outside of that (Blackrock, Chidago Canyon, and Chalfant Valley).  CNDDB data was separated into three layers: Animals and Invertebrates, Plants, and Terrestrial Communities.  >Plants and Communities are shown concurrently.  The Animal/Invertebrate and Plant data was categorized based on date range of most recent site survey.  For Animals/Invertebrates, these categories were more recent as dark (1993-2014), and less recent as light (1891-1992).  For plants, these categories were more recent as dark (1994-2013), and less recent as light (1906-1993).  The values for communities were not categorized, since most of the 13 occurrences are from 1994. Occurrences with less than 1 mile accuracy were not included.  Occurrences with no dates are shown in white, and the attribute will have a “0” for that occurrence in the Year field.
