Description
This map overlays potential fish passage barriers with critical habitat lakes for bull trout. The 3 proposed conservation areas are marked in teal. The selection of these locations was largely based on the number of barriers and distance traveled by the fish. Two areas are located in the greater Columbia drainage, while the other follows the Skagit River to Ross Lake. All 3 of these corridors parallel major roadways and therefore developmental strategies must be assessed to ensure suitable access for this recovering fish species.
