Description
During the 1996 flood rain on snow event a debris torrent that originated from a failed culvert on an old logging spur road, swept down Green Ridge toward the lower Metolius River. 10 years later 8 foot ponderosa pine, Douglas fir and mature manzanita dominate the scoured area.  A full account of the debris torrent can be read here: http://bit.ly/b0GFG6
