Description
This map shows first, the forested areas of Washington State in dark green. Next, it shows fish distribution in the Columbia River Basin. Lastly, it shows the velocity of climate change for the area. These data sets combined can help inform users of how climate change will affect areas visited by fish. The purpose of including the forested area layer is to examine the continuity or lack of continuity of forested areas as forested areas provide shade for spawning of fish who require cooler temperatures to thrive.
