Region 1 - Midland School

Region 1 includes part of Lower Yard, the Oak pasture, Trash Canyon, the Front Range and Bowl loop trailheads, the old pig pen, and the Cummings, Greenblatt, and Gelles houses.
Out in the field, the things most liked about this region were the TRASH CANYON sculptures. Dela and I marked two of these on our GPS units: a HOUSE SCULPTURE she built with Isaiah and Sayer, and a crude rendition of the movie character WALL-E. The OLD PIG PEN was also very interesting. We also marked the CUMMINGS HOUSE and the GREENBLATT HOUSE. We marked LOWER YARD from Cobb Bench and the OAK PASTURE from the gate. We also marked some TRAIL SIGNS.
