Description
Specimen Ridge is located in Yellowstone National Park's Lamar Valley.  The last time I hiked here our group saw eleven wolves and several grizzlies in addition to pronghorn, bison, bighorn sheep and bison.  The trailhead is just a few miles past the Yellowstone Picnic Area and I always choose to end the hike at the Lamar River Bridge.
