- This map shows output from the UCSB statistical (Maxent) species distribution model for the Barstow woolly sunflower, Eriophyllum mohavense .
The UCSB Maxent output includes both continuous and thresholded datasets. The binary layer depicting predicted suitable habitat was derived using the equal training sensitivity and specificity threshold.
For Eriophyllum mohavense, Max Sensitivity + Specificity threshold = 0.2624; best AUC =0.983; mean AUC = 0.9775.
