I have study area 1. This consists of most of the front pasture, lower yard, Sharlet’s house all the way to the Trash Canyon gate. Every other week on one of the club nights, I help make crepes for the school. We always have a lot of fun and eat more crepes than we probably should. Lower yard is home to about half of the students and most of the time very chaotic. Out by the front pasture live Miho, Jerry, and Goji. They are beloved horses. The area consists of mostly oak savanna, the most northern side borders Figueroa mountain road. The map shows a point for the pine tree you pass every time you go to get a crepe, a point for the oak trees by the hay bales for Oak pasture, a point for the eucalyptus grove at the far end of the Oak pasture. Some of the points are closer to the main campus such as the points for Ava’s cabin, my cabin, Ellie Moore’s house and the solar panels in the back of lower yard. The three quads are also marked with polygons with labels in the center. For the topographical feature I chose the valley because the study area is mostly the valley. There are not many hills and the valley covers most of the area. I hope to add a point for the front pasture and clearly define all the different areas.
