This map is showing the California Ocean Uses Atlas-Fishing in dominant areas.
And, the Humpback Whale concentration in Central California.
It compares places that have a large amount of fishing action, and the general amount of Humpback whales in the area. This is useful for scientists studying the whales, and people who want to fish in that area. It will show the concentration of Humpback whales in the place they want to fish. It could prevent the whales being disturbed and disrupted.
