Description:

Natural (undeveloped) lands in Jefferson County, WV at least one acre in size and visible from at least one point along primary roads. Values represent the number of points along primary roads from which the area is visible.

The viewshed analysis assumed a viewer height of 1.3 meters and utilized the digital surface model developed by the University of Vermont for Jefferson County's forest canopy survey in 2005. A digital surface model incorporates obstructions such as trees and buildings.
