Description

Current Draft Water Commons Index - Recharge Map showing the current model (click on the model icon next to the Water Commons Index in the layers tab) and the inputs to the model themselves.

This draft model identifies 90m reporting units within the urban South Coast Watersheds of Santa Barbara County that provide recharge to one of three kinds of recharge:

Vegetation Recharge - recharge into vegetation.
Subsurface Flow Recharge - recharge into areas near riparian areas providing subsurface flow to waterways.
Groundwater Recharge - recharge into the groundwater basin.
